“Seiri” to remove unnecessary items!
The government has taken steps to implement a special program to remove unnecessary items piled up in state institutions from today, September 01.
This program, which is scheduled to be implemented for 4 days from today, has been announced as “Seiri Week”.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government has issued a special circular regarding “Seiri Week” and it is stated that it has been sent to all Ministry Secretaries, Provincial Chief Leks, Department Heads, District Secretaries, Heads of State Corporations and Statutory Boards.
This program has been implemented with the aim of creating a clean and healthy environment suitable for officials in state institutions to freely carry out their duties properly.
This program is to be implemented in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka National Program and it is reported that the identification of necessary and unnecessary items and the disposal of unneeded items will be carried out here.
