Two cars bearing same number plate found
Two motor cars bearing the same number plate were seized by the Police Intelligence Officers attached to the Central Anti-Corruption Attack Force (CACAF )Walana, Panadura yesterday (13) following a thorough investigation, CAVAF sources told Daily News.
One car was taken into custody from Sea Street in Dehiwala and the other car was apprehended at Mudiyanse Watte in Dalugama, Kelaniya Police said. Police are to find which one is the genuine car and both cars have been handed over to the Dehiwala Police and the Police are to obtain a Court order to get the two vehicles checked by the Govt. Analyst.
CACAF Officers have made the arrest under the instructions of CACAF Head SP A.K. Udayakumara and OIC Indika Weerasinghe.
