12 Hours of water cut!
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced that a 12-hour water cut will be implemented in several areas in the Gampaha District today, July 07.
The water supply will be suspended from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm today, the statement said.
Accordingly, water supply is scheduled to be suspended in Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela, Katunayake / Seeduwa Urban Council areas, Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ela, Katunayake, Minuwangoda Pradeshiya Sabha area and part of Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board further clarified that the water cut will be implemented due to essential maintenance work on the lines distributed by the Sapugaskanda Sub-station of the Ceylon Electricity Board.
