This year 5th-grade scholarship exam mode

The examination department has informed that the Grade 5 scholarship examination of 2023 will be held on 15th October and applications will be called from 15th June to 6th July.

The announcement issued by the Commissioner General of Examinations Mr. Amit Jayasundara also states that the deadline for accepting applications will not be extended for any reason and online access will be closed after 12 midnight on July 6.

The Commissioner General of Examinations has also stated that only students studying in Grade 5 in a government school or a school approved by the government can appear for the Grade 5 scholarship examination.

The announcement further states that the bursaries will be offered only to low-income students who are below 11 years of age or above 10 years of age as on January 31, 2024.

Applications should be sent through online mode and the application instruction sheet and constitution are available by visiting https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic.
