SLPP Puttalam reps with President – MP Piyankara Jayaratne

The Puttalam district SLPP MP Priyankara Jayaratne said yesterday that the SLPP political representatives in the district endorsed a resolution supporting President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Election.

State Minister Arundika Fernando was represented by his Private Secretary Dimal Patinayake and MPs from Puttalam district Ali Sabri Raheem and Jagath Priyankara also attended the meeting held in Chilaw.

In addition, former Provincial Council Ministers, Councilors, Urban Council and Pradeshiya Sabha members, Cooperative Society chairpersons of the SLPP participated.

The resolution presented by MP Priyankara Jayaratne that the SLPP political leaders from Puttalam district should support President Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Presidential Election received unanimous support from those present.
