Piyumi’s BMW found at drug suspect’s Nawala house – Prabhasha Golden

The Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) said that a luxury BMW car registered in the name of model Piyumi Hansamali was found in the garage of a two-storied house of the businessman in Nawala.
This businessman had been arrested for importing kush and cocaine worth over Rs.60 million via airmail.
This businessman in question had brought five kilos of kush and 500 grams of cocaine via airmail through courier. Police started investigations against this businessman after another person had come to collect the parcel. However police succeeded in arresting the suspect who is the owner of a major auto spare parts import business in Colombo 10.
Police said that it was revealed that the suspect had been living on a rental basis in a house in Nawala earlier this year and after the seizure of the stock of drugs by the Police Narcotics Bureau, he had left that house and shifted his residence to another house near Nawala School Lane.
Analytical reports are to be obtained regarding the car registered in the name of Piyumi Hansamali, the model who is accused of making several millions of rupees.
