Accident in India – Sachini Siriwardhana
Foreign media have reported that 15 people died and 60 people were injured in a train accident in West Bengal, India.
It is said that a high-speed passenger train and a freight train have been involved in the accident in Darjeeling district.
The Kanchanbunga high speed train which was involved in the accident was running towards Kolkata in Silwar, Assam, and the freight train following the passenger train collided with it near the Rangapani station and the accident took place.
