Fuel Prices Reduced from Midnight – CPC Lowers Auto Diesel and Petrol Rates
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, effective from midnight today – 01st, February, providing relief to consumers of Auto Diesel and Petrol.
According to the revised pricing, the price of Auto Diesel has been reduced by Rs. 2, bringing the new rate to Rs. 277 per litre, while Petrol (92 Octane) has also been reduced by Rs. 2, with the new price set at Rs. 292 per litre.
The CPC stated that prices of all other fuel types, including Super Diesel, 95 Octane Petrol, and Kerosene, will remain unchanged.
This price revision was made in line with the government’s periodic review under the fuel pricing formula.
