Northern Provincial Programme of ‘Ratam Ekata’ National Campaign to Be Held This evening!
The Northern Provincial Programme of the “Ratam Ekata” National Campaign, aimed at eradicating the growing menace of toxic drugs in the country, will be held this evening (16) at the Jaffna College of Technology playground under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The “Ratam Ekata” National Campaign was launched on 30 October 2025 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo, followed by its Southern Provincial Programme held in Tangalle on 20 November 2025.
The Northern Provincial Programme is expected to raise awareness among the people of the Northern Province on the urgent need to eliminate toxic drugs and to encourage active public participation in the campaign. The programme will also highlight the unique role of the “Ratam Ekata” National Campaign in addressing this national issue and mobilising support from all relevant stakeholders.
