Water supply to several areas in Gampaha to be suspended today – 17th!
The Water Supply and Drainage Board has issued a statement informing that water supply to several areas in the Gampaha district will be suspended for 15 hours from 4.00 pm on the 17th to 7.00 am on the 18th due to essential maintenance work related to the relocation of water pipes related to the construction work on the Central Expressway.
Accordingly, water supply will be suspended for the Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha area and a part of the Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha area.
The Board regrets the inconvenience caused to consumers due to the water supply interruption and further states that water should be used sparingly.
