Education Ministry Announces 2027 School Terms and Holidays
The Ministry of Education has announced the school terms and holiday schedule for Government and Government-approved private schools for the year 2027.
Accordingly, the first school term will be held from January 4 to April 9, while the second term will run from April 26 to July 30. The third term is scheduled from August 30 to December 3.
A total of 197 school days have been planned for 2027, while new Grade 12 classes are scheduled to commence on June 15.
The Ministry further announced that the 2027 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination is scheduled to be held in August, while the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination is expected to be conducted in December.
