Rs. 50 Million Contribution from Senura Civil Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Rank Container Terminal (Pvt) Ltd to the ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund
The ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, established to restore the lives of people affected by Cyclone Ditwah and to rebuild the country in the aftermath of the disaster, continues to receive generous contributions on a daily basis from local and international organizations, members of the business community and philanthropists.
Accordingly, Senura Civil Engineering (Pvt) Ltd and Rank Container Terminal (Pvt) Ltd made a joint contribution of Rs. 50 million to the Fund yesterday (15). Each company contributed Rs. 25 million and the relevant cheques were formally handed over to Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake at the Presidential Secretariat.
Representing the two companies, Mr. Ravi Wijeratne, Shahen Wijeratne and Mr. Shantha Ilangamudali were present on this occasion.
