The competitive examination for the recruitment of translators has been postponed indefinitely.
The Commissioner General of Official Languages informs that due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, the open/limited competitive examination for the recruitment of Language Translators (Sinhala/English), (Sinhala/Tamil) and (Tamil/English) Grade II posts in the Department of Official Languages, which was scheduled to be held on 28.11.2025 and 30.11.2025, will have to be postponed indefinitely.
It is also informed that steps will be taken to inform the examination candidates about the date of the examination in the future.
