A/L student injured after jumping from her school building
According to the police, a 19-year-old Advanced Level student was hospitalized after jumping from the third floor of her school building in Bambalapitiya last afternoon (11).
This student, a resident of Moratuwa, is attempting the A/L exam for the second time this year.
As the police reported, the incident occurred about fifteen minutes before the Biology paper was scheduled to start.
Eyewitnesses said that the girl’s life was saved because she landed on a carpeted pathway, which led to injuries mainly to her legs. She was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
