Miss Thailand Opal Suchata Chuangsri Crowned Miss World 2025 – Nagendran Kalpana

Thailand’s Opal Suchata Chuangsri claimed the Miss World 2025 title at the grand finale held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. The competition saw Miss Ethiopia securing second place, Miss Poland finishing third, and Miss Martinique taking fourth place.

The 72nd edition of Miss World began at 6:30 PM(IST), featuring 108 contestants from across the globe. The event progressed through multiple rounds, including the selection of the Top 10 from each continent, before narrowing down to the final four.

Each of the Top 4 finalists faced a jury question, which played a crucial role in determining the winner.

India’s Nandini Gupta, despite being one of the top four continental winners, did not advance to the Top 8. She had earlier secured her spot by excelling in the Top Model Challenge, held at The Trident in Hyderabad. Joining her in the continental winners’ circle were Jasmine Gerhardt (Miss Ireland) from Europe, Selma Kamanya (Miss Namibia) from Africa, and Aurelie Joachim (Miss Martinique) representing the Americas and Caribbean.

Sri Lanka’s Anudi Gunasekara did not advance to the Top 40 quarterfinalists, despite performing well in the Multimedia Challenge, where she secured First Runner-Up, as well as in the Talent Showcase and Head-to-Head Challenge, earning recognition for her versatility and dedication.
