Don’t worry about passport matters – Immigration & Emigration!

The Department of Immigration and Emigration announces that, from Monday, June 2, token cards for passport issuance under the same-day and regular services will be available from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Department’s head office.

Accordingly, applicants who have previously reserved a date under the same-day service and are scheduled for that day, as well as applicants with urgent or priority needs, can also submit their applications under the same-day service during the above period, the announcement states.

Furthermore, the notification states that since token cards will be issued to all applicants who come to obtain passports during that period, there is no need to queue in front of the Immigration and Emigration Department from the previous night, and that you can come after 6.00 a.m. on the relevant day and fulfill your needs without any hindrance.

The relevant notification also informs the public to refrain from giving money to any broker or other person inside or outside the premises of the Immigration and Emigration Department in order to expedite the submission of passport applications or to obtain passports quickly, and to pay the relevant fee for the passport only at the Sarap counter and obtain the passport only from the window where the passport is issued.
