Cricket Asia Cup : Sri Lanka won the Asia Cup

The Sri Lankan team managed to win the final match of the Asia Cup Twenty20 cricket tournament by 23 runs. Accordingly, Sri Lanka won the Asia Cup after 8 years. President congratulates Sri Lanka team.

The captain of the Pakistan team who won the toss of the match had given the opportunity to the Sri Lankan team to bat first.

Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team entered the field and managed to score 170 runs by losing 6 wickets at the end of the scheduled 20 overs.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has extended his heartiest congratulations to the Sri Lankan cricket team on winning the Asia Cup title for the sixth time.
