Special Children’s Day Celebration at Chilaw General Hospital
A special Children’s Day celebration was held yesterday, 01st of October at the Chilaw General Hospital to mark World Children’s Day.
The programme was organized with the aim of bringing happiness and joy to children who are receiving treatment at the hospital.
Doctors and nurses, as well as children undergoing treatment, joined the programme by singing songs and taking part in various activities.
Special attention was given to providing the children with an opportunity to enjoy Children’s Day despite being in hospital for medical treatment.
Gifts were also presented to the children, creating a memorable moment and bringing smiles to their faces.
The programme highlighted the importance of creating positive and joyful experiences for hospitalized children, while also supporting their emotional well-being.
The Children’s Day celebration, organized by the doctors, nurses and hospital staff, became a meaningful occasion filled with happiness, care and compassion.
