Students of Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School, Gampaha Visit the Presidential Secretariat

Students of the Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School in Gampaha were given the opportunity to participate in the “Vision” programme organized by the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (22).

This programme is conducted jointly by the Presidential Secretariat, the Ministry of Education and the Parliamentary Department of Communication, aimed at benefiting school students.

Addressing the students, Senior Additional Secretary to the President (Anti-Corruption), Attorney-at-Law K. N. M. Kumarasinghe, emphasized that as Sri Lankan children, they should establish lives based on peace, unity, harmony and coexistence.

In line with the programme, a valuable selection of plant saplings was gifted to the school, symbolizing the importance of environmental conservation.

Assistant Director of the Tri-Forces Coordination Unit of the Presidential Secretariat Major Nadika Dangolla, Principal of Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School in Gampaha M. M. M. Sarjoon, teachers and other invitees were present for the occasion.
