Come, let’s stand for Palestine!
The Sri Lankan group for a free Palestine in Colombo invites Sri Lankans to join the South Asian march for solidarity with Palestine this Friday, August 15th.
The march, which will start at 3.00 pm today from the Borella Cemetery Roundabout, will proceed to Campbell Park, Borella. The organizers point out that the Sri Lankan people will show their empathy and solidarity with the suffering Palestinian people through speeches and cultural performances at Campbell Park.
On this day, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka will march together at the same time.
“We will meet at the cemetery roundabout and walk to Campbell Park. For one common goal, with one voice, as an alliance of all pro-Palestinian groups,” says the Sri Lankan group for a free Palestine.
