GMOA suspends strike!

The Government Medical Officers Association has suspended an island-wide strike that was to be implemented from today (11) based on several demands, including transfers of doctors.
The strike was scheduled to be implemented based on several demands, including transfers of doctors, and the Government Medical Officers Association Executive Council has suspended the proposed island-wide strike considering the positive and constructive responses received during the discussion held with the Minister of Health.
The Government Medical Officers Association had warned that it would implement this if these demands were not addressed before 8.00 am today.
