It has been 17 years since the student was killed ‘without justice’- 5 bullets were fired at the son
It has been 17 years since yesterday (02) that 5 students were killed in Trincomalee. (02 January 2006- 02 January 2023). Dr. Manoharan, the father of the murdered Manoharan Ragihar, said that it is clear to him that these students were killed by the security forces, but no authority in Sri Lanka has been able to carry out a positive investigation and bring the killers to justice.
Manoharan Ragihar (1985/09/22) Yogaraj Hemachandra (1985/03/04) Logidaraj Rohan (1985/04/07) Dhangathurai Sivananda (1085/ 04/06 ), Shanmugaraj Gajendran (1985/09/16) were the killed 5 students. That was on January 2, 2006. They were killed near the Trincomalee Gandhi statue.
